Suitable for any teacher (Primary or Secondary) interested in using the Scottish Parliament as a theme in social subjects/RME/expressive arts who wants an introduction to the Scottish Parliament.

How the Scottish Parliament Works presentation
Tour of Parliament building
Education Service programmes and resources explained
Question Time for teachers (secondary) *NEW Featuring the Scottish Parliament, UK Parliament and the BBC

The Scottish Parliament and UK Parliament Education Services will deliver a programme exploring how both Parliaments work and how our services can support your teaching. There will also be a chance to find out how your school can become involved in the BBC Schools Question Time competition and BBC Schools News Report.

INSET Sessions in your local area
We offer half day or twilight Teachers' seminars for Primary or Secondary which include: Services offered by the Parliament; learn about the Parliament through a typical class presentation and the opportunity to work with Parliamentary resources. These seminars are free and can be held either in your school or local resource centre for staff from a cluster.
