Lewis Macdonald MSP
Lewis has represented Aberdeen Central - the heart of Scotland's third city - since 1999. He first came to the city as a student, and like so many others liked it so much that he stayed. Lewis has worked in the areas of research, education and representation in the city for most of the last thirty years; his wife, Sandra, works in the oil industry, one daughter attends a Scottish University and the other is at school in Aberdeen. His responsibilities as a Minister included health, transport, planning, enterprise, energy, lifelong learning, environment, health, community care and rural development. In his spare time, Lewis is a patron of the Dons' Supporters Trust, so life is never dull!
This introduction was written by Lewis Macdonald MSP and is current as of
August 2009 Lewis is a member of the following committees: Member of the Economy, Energy and Tourism Committee
